Experiment Name: Study on gearing diagram of carding machine.
Objective:
I) To know about the different types of drives used in carding machine.
II) Measure the diameter of all pulleys.
III) Count the no of teeth present on gears.
IV) Draw a simple diagram according to experiment.
Drives used in carding machine:
v Flat belt.
v Flat pulley.
v V-belt.
v V-gear.
v Timing belt and pulley.
v Straight cut gear.
v Bevel gear etc.
Conclusion: Observed every parts very carefully and try to draw a simple diagram………………………………………
