Experiment Name: Study on calculation of draft constant of
ring frame machine.
Introduction:
Drafting is one of the major operation of ring frame
machine. Ring frame contain three pairs of roller called front roller, middle
roller, back roller. Draft = Draft Constant / D.C.P
Objective:
1) To learn about draft, draft constant, D.C.P
2) To write a report according this experiment.

Draft Constant = (23 X 60 X 81 X 77 X 80 ) / (69 X 22 X 1 X 23 X 20) = 986
Draft = Draft
Constant / DCP = 986 / 40 = 24.65
